A long-standing client of mine are currently on the market for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to come onboard and join their vibrant Accounts Payable function. The role has become available due to a staff member being internally promoted.

The location of the organisation would also be of great interest as it is very close to all local bus stops and the local station. The role itself offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become a senior member within the function as the business is constantly growing and expanding.

As a member of this creative and progressive department you will be involved with the following:

  • Processing high volumes of multi-currency invoices
  • Reconciliations of Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes
  • Weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Month end bank reconciliation
  • Dealing with staff expense claims and credit card expenses
  • Reconciling supplier statements

The following attributes are not essentials but would be very desirable:

  • Experience of processing high volumes of invoices for payment accurately and within deadlines
  • Previous experience within a car dealerships accounts team
  • Knowledge of purchase ordering systems
