Reporting to the Financial Controller, this thriving Business is looking to recruit an experienced, proactive Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This is not an ordinary Credit Control position but will require you to take on additional duties as your skills develop to add variety and worth to your working day making it an excellent opportunity to progress your career. One of the main requirements for the Directors of the chosen candidate is to demonstrate a proactive approach to their work, a strong focus and desire to move their career forward.

• As Credit Controller for the Business, you will take responsibility for a large number of Customer Accounts

• Collection of outstanding monies mainly by phone will require relationship building skills

• Administering any Direct Debits

• Working to set KPIs including calls made and daily diary outstanding lists

• Effective query resolution & reconciliation

• Negotiating, getting approval and setting up re-payment plans.

• Checking customer’s credit ratings

• Creating Sales orders

• Setting up contracts

• Logging notes for any small claims court

• Managing the credit control in box

To be considered for this opportunity, you must

• Possess current/recent Credit Control experience

• Enjoy collecting monies by telephone & building relationships with your Clients

• Have good exposure to Excel

• Possess a good attention to detail

• Have experience of reconciling accounts
