A brand new client of ours are on the market for a junior Finance Assistant to become a part of their start up accounts function. This organisation have made fantastic strides within the Film industry in the last 12 months and due to the companies turnover exceeding £10 million in their first year they no longer desire to outsource the accounts and would rather have it in house at their head office in the heart of Dartford. Due to this being a start up function the first 5 accounts staff members will be offered a full study support cover to help them grow and develop with the business. With the scope to be a senior member of the company.

The following attributes are considered essential for this role:

  • Between 1-2 years experience
  • Reconciling Supplier Statements
  • Resolving supplier queries
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Bank reconciliations

As the Finance Assistant you will be involved with the following:

  • Processing the Weekly payment run via BACS
  • Processing both Accounts Payable & Receivable Invoices
  • Month End Reconciliations
  • Reconciling staff credit card expenses
  • Allocation of money received
  • Closing Ledgers

After understanding and mastering the duties above you will gain responsibility for:

  • Multi-Currency Exposure
  • VAT returns and Calculations
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Processing Journals
