As Head of Finance, you will be presented with a perfect opportunity to progress your career with a focus on developing the team further during a period of growth. Working closely with the Board you will be required to meet demanding deadlines and regular KPIs. This is the perfect step for a Qualified Accountant ( ACA, ACCA or CIMA) offering challenge and progression ad a definite career development plan.

 

Key Accountabilities will include-

•             Team management including 1-2-1s, appraisals, team meetings and setting KPIs

•             Production of Monthly Management Accounts to tight deadlines

•             Review of Balance Sheet Accounts including reconciliations

•             Cash Flow management

•             Working with Non Financial Budget Holders and explaining variances to Budget

•             VAT control

•             Preparation of year end schedules, working with the Auditors

•             Financial Reporting

•             Ad hoc project work  

•             Reviewing process efficiencies and recommending alterations to the Board

 

To be considered for this role you must-

•             Be Qualified-ACA, ACCA or CIMA with PQE experience within industry

•             Be able to demonstrate exposure to a high volume transactional Business

•             Have a good working knowledge of meeting very strict & tight reporting deadlines

•             Have experience of producing monthly management accounts

•             Be a strong people manager with strong motivational skills

•             Possess excellent Excel skills ( formulas, pivots, lookups)
