About the company
My client is an international security firm and is renowned for its leading innovative services to some of the biggest corporate clients in the world. My client is based in West London and has a team of 10 in its finance team, led by the Finance Manager. They are expanding their client portfolio and they need a new Sales Ledger/Receivables Clerk to join the team ASAP. They wish to develop an individual so an ACCA/CIMA/AAT studier would be a plus or someone fresh out of university.
What you will be doing?
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be working on:
- Issuing high valued invoices to clients
- Allocating monies/payments received
- Issuing credit notes to clients where necessary
- Dealing with discrepancies and/or complex client queries
- Client statement reconciliation
Essential skills/experience
- 1+ years’ experience in accounts functions
- Experience dealing with high value invoices
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Intermediate Excel skills (Formulas, Pivot Tables)
Desirable skills/experience
- Experience of accounting systems
- Studying for AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Experience in a similar industry or with transferable knowledge
